Silhouettes make a difference in the communities that we live in!
Greetings! It is my distinct honor and privilege to serve as President of the Silhouettes' Los Angeles Alumni Chapter. The Silhouettes is an auxiliary organization of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Los Angeles Chapter. Our membership is comprised of wives and widows of the men of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. The Los Angeles chapter Silhouettes is part of a national network of chapters which is supported by provincial and national leadership.
The Silhouettes is a community service based organization providing: scholarships to college bound Seniors, food and clothing donations to shelters, and community service to well deserved civic and political projects at the local, Western Province and National levels. In addition, we support the Annual Black and White Ball and Kappa Presents fundraisers of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
The National Silhouettes of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. was established in 1947 as an auxiliary group and the Los Angeles Alumni Chapter Silhouettes is the largest chapter comprised of the most active members in the Far West Region.
I am also an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Tau Beta Omega, Marina Del Rey Chapter; Jack and Jill of America, Inglewood Chapter; and the Los Angeles African American Women’s Public Policy Institute.
I am an appointed Assembly Delegate for the 62nd District by the Honorable Assemblymember Autumn Burke and a Political Liaison for Southern California Region for the Association of California State Supervisors. I am married to Shannon Faulk, a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Los Angeles Alumni Chapter, initiated in the spring 1986 Gamma Alpha Chapter and we have two adorable sons Fitzgerald and Sebastian.
